Brahman Cattle with Quality Carcass Traits
Our family has been in the Brahman business since 1956. Todd and Jo Ann Schindler continue the legacy started by Mr Fred Schindler. Gentle Brahman Cattle, that have great carcass traits (Tenderness, Marbling, Muscle) and RFI (feed conversion). If these are the kind you're looking for, we have brahman for sale.
Breed It, Test It, Prove It
We researched to find the right bloodlines, did genetic testing and entered American Brahman Breeders Association contests to prove the quality carcass traits of our cattle. Winnings included 2017 highest indexing steer, and 2019 highest indexing steer, bull and breeder. 2019 Performance Breeder of the year.
Still Improving
Once we established our base herd, we tightened the bloodlines through line breeding, but when we find a super bloodline, we add it to the mix, Muscle, Marbling, Scrotal Circumference, and Growth.
CRR Sugar 142 - Highest Tenderness rating in the breed.
We searched for bloodlines, but it took the blessing of a bull, CRR Sugar 142, to bring us to the next level of carcass quality, One of the few brahman bulls that has all the genetic markers for tenderness. He improved the carcass genetics of every cow we've bred him to. Thank You LORD!
